Food sensitivity

The body can react to foods in a number of different ways. Some foods may cause an immediate adverse reaction (an allergic response), while others can cause subtle or delayed symptoms that aren't easily linked to diet (food intolerance). Guidance through the process of creating a food and wellbeing diary, and its subsequent analysis are provided at no extra cost, and is considered the most effective means of discovering hidden food sensitivities.

Alternatively, allergy tests (IgE antibody, a technique used by the NHS) and food intolerance tests based on the latest scientific research are available from £90. These require a blood sample which is exposed to a range of foods and then analysed for an immune response.
